In HK for 4 days on business meeting with Nomura. Working on couple of deals and collaboration with Nomura HK and Malaysia and the schedule was pretty hectic with meetings from Financial Solutions Dept, Fixed Income Dept to Equity Capital Market. The outcome was positive with more potential deals coming up i hope.
Merrill invited us to their office as well and 2 meetings was held with its Securitisation team. Only managed to see my good friend PicaJu who is based there now for couple of hours. He talked about his fiancee and how good it was to proposed to her but nobody close to him there to share the news with. He is only there for 5 months now but will be there for at least for 2 years. Cool, free accomodation for me!
The wheather was hazy and like Malaysian blaming it on the Indo, they blame it on China! Lan Kwai Fong Hotel was OK only though location is good. I still love HK though...to work there for couple of years or just for holiday.
