It was a 1st time for me to Cameron Highlands and i do really like the cold wheather there. Well, it was not extremly cold like being in the US during winter but 15 degree at nite was pretty cold for me though.
We went to O.K Tuck for steam boat dinner and the next day drove down to Brinchang for nescafe tarik and roti telur at some mamak store over looking a Convent school where NSAB's mum went to school. After breakfast, we drove down to Bharati Tea Plantation and walked around the plantation area which looks to me cater to tourist than an actual plantation...(the tea leaves look "dead" to me!)
We were swapmed by "Taiwanese" tourist there and decided to go to Boh Plantation which was about 10KM further. It was worth the trip even with narrow road and a breath catching walk up to its "Observatory Area". The scenery was spectacular, with clouds that you could reach, fresh air that you breathe feels like you have extra 30 minutes live expand, greens all around you and the tea leaves looks so much alive!
Later, we drove back up and stop at couple of Strawberry/ Cactus Farm which to me kindda tacky little stores that sell things that you don't want but will buy anyway....and went to Smoke House for scones and tea. Extremly over rated and quite pricy actually.
The trip also involved loads of flower and vegie "acquisition". I mean, we could sell the stuff that we bought at Bangsar pasar malam and my car boot was full of corns, vegies, flowers...yeah...good purchase..and Kea Farm rocks!
Will definetly go there again someday!
