Had a wonderful trip recently with NSAB and CP. It was really fun to be able to do the trips with people that i cared for and to witness some of the amazing historical places again. Rome was really nice and love the food and coffee to die for...shopping was heaven for some people! Firenze and Pisa was amazing but was much colder than Rome and on the way to Firenze, it was snowing. Yikes!
Paris weather was much colder than anticipated and shops were closed as it was Easter Holiday. The next day, NSAB and i took a train from Gare de Nor, Paris to St Pancras London. London was snowing a bit, though it wasn't supposed to be at this time of a year. Had such a short but fun time in London meeting NSABs cousin and her adorable kids.
Back in Paris that evening and managed to see more of Paris for the remaining 4 days. We were lucky to be able to stay within a walking distance to Champs Elysees and Eiffel. Did the Musee Orsay where some of Van Gogh and Monet collection were stored. Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Montmarte and Marais and cruise along the Seine were just so pleasant. Wish i could stay longer as 4 days in Paris is definetly not enough.
We definetly have to go back to Paris and Rome again someday. How about next year?
